    The 1st International Conference on Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Social Sciences (ICBEESS) was a forum for academics, students, practitioners, and researchers to provide new insights and impacts in the fields of business economics, entrepreneurship, and social sciences. 20 topics were proposed in the conference to enrich and provide new insights in both academic and practical fields. This conference was the first to be held by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik, with the theme The Rise Of Halal Industry, Sustainability, And Green Economy In Indonesia. The conference was held in Gresik, on August 1, 2024. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer review was used in the paper selection. It is hoped that the results of this activity will be able to provide a significant impact in the academic and practical fields of business, management, accounting, entrepreneurship, and social sciences.
