The application of VANETs is considered as a key component within the envision…Vehicular Ad-hoc NETworks (VANETs) is a special form of Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs). The continuous developments in wireless networks have paved the way for the adoption of wireless data exchange for onroad vehicles. The application of VANETs is considered as a key component within the envisioned Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). One of the primary applications of VANETs is to enhance the safety measures for the vehicles on-road. Information about vehicles, such as vehicle speed and location coordinates are passed among vehicles to improve their awareness of each other. In VANETs, vehicles are referred to as nodes within a network where each node can act as both; end devise and router. The current design of VANETs has been identified with several drawbacks, while obtaining high performance in multi-hop message dissemination being as one of the most prominent issues. This problem need a solution to improve VANET's performance, especially over networks with high node densities. In this paper, we propose an ontologybased approach for multi-hop message dissemination over VANETs as a solution that would address the above highlighted issue.

Though, sensor nodes in UWSNs are equipped with finite energy…Underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) are intended to be positioned at the areas that need to be supervised constantly deprived of the human interaction. Consequently, these networks are likely to stay active for a longer duration. Though, sensor nodes in UWSNs are equipped with finite energy resources. Furthermore, congestion is one of the biggest challenges in UWSNs because it leads to data packet loss and ultimately shorten network lifetime. In this paper, a congestion control model in UWSNs with congestion control is considered. A routing protocol is purposed which will be a modification of current UWSNs protocols such as RACE and ARCUN by presenting their attributes with congestion control mechanism. We will deliver some comparisons between the proposed scheme and the existing schemes and prove that this new scheme with congestion control has better performance than the existing ones.

By the web sources huge amount of data is maintained and can be easily retrieved by using the web mining techniques as the techniques are applied exactly based on the needs of the users. ECommerce and online shopping noticed a huge growth in business industry. This facility has been mostly employed in western countries during the last two decades. In east online shopping is increasing as most of the business is running through web site as well as in west. This business can be boost by feature analysis of different successful running online web stores. This study is going to present analysis of different features of successful online business website and of those which are not that much popular and accessed infrequently, their features will be extracted and compared to get the reasons of popularity of frequently accessed online shopping websites and after that recommendations will be made to increase the traffic of unpopular online shopping websites to dominate online business in Pakistan. According to the presented work it has been concluded that unpopular websites lack some features that are included in popular websites such as brands, as people are more conscious about brands and labels so they visit and shop from the websites which offer them best quality famous brands, moreover it has been observed that unpopular websites have less categories they must broaden their variety of products especially related to sports, fitness, bathroom accessories, technology and cosmetics. Apart from these another interesting fact that has been found is that popular websites mostly attract their customers by giving them offers such as buy one get one free, free home delivery and free gifts, such offers are always attracting new and more customers. Unpopular websites can improve their business by including the features discussed above. The results of research on this dataset also show that the Naïve bayes is better than j48 in terms of efficiency and accuracy respectively.

The robot is intell…This paper presents a multiple destination, multiple lines following robot which takes input from user and then selects the defined colored line on the basis of given input and follows it until it reaches its destination. Each destination is defined with a specific colored line. The robot is intelligent enough to avoid collision with obstacles blocking its path, and to bypass the obstacle and then continue following its path. The robot has the ability to return to its initial position once the destination is achieved, thus completing a round trip successfully and getting ready to be employed again. The robot is able to turn across sharp turns as it follows the edge of the colored line and not the line itself. The robot is economical as least number of sensors are employed in the robot.

While dealing with a violen…Within the past few years, organizational security has emerged as a critical challenge for industries, security agencies, academic institutions and organizations. The current security system lacks efficiency which influences organizations’ security parameters negatively. While dealing with a violent or terroristic activity human guards may not be able to response effectively under pressure, due to some limitation or lack of continuous attention. In present conditions where guards are not active enough to generate a quick response against threat, human eagerly need to design an effective virtual security system which would be responsible to analyze collective measures, process, and procedure that ensure protections of virtualization environment. In order to increase efficiency of security, eliminate security holes and to obtain quick response towards suspicious activities, there is need to replace humansecurity-guard with a virtual-security-guard system. This virtual guard will be an embedded machine, which will act like a complete security guard that will work under ‘Human Based Psychology’. This system would be reflection of an ideal virtual security guard which will generate intelligent and quick response towards abnormal activities by making intelligent decisions based on selective attention mechanism. The proposed system can be efficient enough to focus both functional and non-functional requirements (resistibility in smoke, fog, rain, dark and dust).

LI-FI deal with a large amount of data rate, which is in the range of several Mbs to Gbs. Different parameters are affected by the performance of data rate. The proper arrangement of LED play part and parcel role in this new technology so there needs to investigate the novel architecture and flow control protocol in LI-FI system. The dimension of LED and the position of LED lead this technology towards high data rate. So, this paper presents the actual technique and novel architecture that tells us how to increase the data rate in front of different parameters.

Models are considered as major parts in the MDE, and concentrates on the formation and then conversion of models to the implementation. Cloud Computing is also getting reputation as the standard approach for designing and organizing software applications over the internet, especially for distributed and e-commerce applications. In recent times, Cloud Computing has become known as a latest opportunity that how software and other resources can be provided to the consumers as a service. The cloud aspects need to be well engineered for the software engineering methodologies particularly modeling the cloud aspects to provide logical tested solution prior to implementation. On the other side, general-purpose language UML, provides modeling and designing notions to symbolize software, platforms and architectural artifacts from diverse viewpoints of object-oriented paradigm. UML can also be extended to model and visualize the non objectoriented systems. Lately, few cloud modeling methodologies have emerged, however, useful support for designing cloud application is still missing. As a result, we propose UML-based framework using UML extension mechanism for modeling cloud computing paradigm aspects.

One of the key challenges in mobile crowd sensing system is multiple selections of participants with low priority to perform tasks. This research work presents the concept of Crowd sensing along with the raking process of participants from a large user pool. This article provides the efficient raking process of participants to assign the priorities for performing tasks in smooth manner.

The face image differences caused by rotations are often larger than the inter-person differences used in distinguishing identities. Face recognition across pose, on the other hand, has great potentials in many applications dealing with uncooperative subjects, in which the full power of face recognition being a passive biometric technique can be implemented and utilized. Extensive efforts have been put into the research toward pose-invariant face recognition in recent years and many prominent approaches have been proposed. However, several issues in face recognition across pose still remain open, such as lack of understanding about subspaces of pose variant images, problem intractability in 3D face modelling, complex face surface reflection mechanism, etc. This paper provides a critical survey of researches on image-based face recognition across pose. The existing techniques are comprehensively reviewed and discussed. They are classified into different categories according to their methodologies in handling pose variations. Their strategies, advantages/disadvantages and performances are elaborated. By generalizing different tactics in handling pose variations and evaluating their performances, several promising.

Segmentation is carried out by using a series of morphological operations on the binarized images of circuits and discriminating between three categories of components (closed shape, components with connected lines, disconnected components). Each segmented component is characterized by computing the Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) descriptor while classification is carried out using Support Vector Machine (SVM). The system is evaluated on 100 hand-drawn circuit diagrams with a total of 350 components. A segmentation accuracy of 87.7% while a classification rate of 92% is realized demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed technique.

Relative distance measures are used to identify the similarity between the stored i…This communication presents a novel system for Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) using Granulometry and Color Co-occurrence Features (CCF). These features are extracted directly from images using visual codebook. Relative distance measures are used to identify the similarity between the stored images and the query image. Results show that proposed method of using Granulometry and CCF is superior to most state of the art CBIR systems. The proposed system is tested on Wang image database that contains 1000 images having different categories. The performance of the system, quantified using the Average Precision Rate (APR), is very encouraging.

These files are converted to required formats after completing the preprocessing so Web Usage Mining (WUM) techniques can apply on these logs. Web usage mining gives us the details of user patterns. In this study we are going discover different behaviors patterns from the web proxy server log file of an educational organization with web usage mining technique. Results are based on the interest of users towards educational websites.
