UHAMKA 1st International Conference of Economics and Business (UHICEB) 2023 as a means of building relationship between academics and practitioners to increase the contribution of the fields of Management, Accounting, Islamic Economics and Taxation, in business recovery and the revival of the Indonesian economy. This conference was the first International Conference held by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA and will be an annual agenda of this faculty. This event was held on 18-19 December 2023 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA. The theme of the 1st UHICEB UHAMKA was “Economic Recovery for Sustainable Development”. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer review was used in the paper selection.
