It has monitor through environment by using sensing device that means of physical properties. WSN is a network that can transmit and receive through the wireless medium by using the sensor devices for various nodes. There are various base stations to control final destination of data from one place to other place. It includes the dense ad-hoc deployment, dynamic topology, spatial distribution, and Network topology, Graph Theory with constraint the bandwidth, energy life time and memory. Based on the problem size increases, it can require as various efforts by using the optimization techniques. This paper is to distinguish the deficiencies in Wireless Sensor Networks the hubs have transmitted starting with one place then onto the next by utilizing the particle swarm enhancement. PSO calculation is contrasted and the different calculations PCA, Neural system and OPAST. Based on the algorithm, the performance analysis is done on specificity, fault detection and fault coverage. The simulation result shows the energy life time, throughput, packet delivery ratio produces good performance when compared to the other algorithms. more »

This approach cannot always ensure an optimal crop selection even for subsistence farming. To improve farmers’ net revenue, this work proposes a three-stage approach for crop selection in the context of traditional agriculture. Firstly, since crops’ yields are influenced by several environmental parameters, an analytic hierarchy process is used to set the weights of those parameters. Secondly, an expert system using a rule-based inference engine is designed to determine the appropriateness of crops depending on environmental and time constraints. Finally, the net revenue of the farmer is formulated as a linear programming problem, considering the operating account of the various crops selected during the previous stages. In addition, a web interface has been developed to allow farmers to benefit from the whole system. Scenarios have been designed from a collection of crop technical itineraries, and they have been compared with the outputs of the expert system. The result shown that the system can effectively help farmers to improve their net revenues. more »

Abandoned Object Detection (AOD) and identifying its location is one of them. In this paper, we evaluated the reproducibility of an existing AOD algorithm on benchmark video datasets. OBJECTIVES: The purpose of the study is to identify the key predictors for developing a generalized AOD algorithm. METHODS: The algorithm selection is performed by a detailed exploration of repositories through various research questions (RQs). RESULTS: After the study video summarization, Correct Detection Rate (CDR), generalized Region of Interest (ROI), background learning, and interaction factor considered for enhancing the AOD algorithm. CONCLUSION: Identification of suspiciousness has various measures depending upon perception, on the basis of results explored the existing algorithm can be improved using key-predictors with observational parameters. more »

If spatial cellular decomposition is evidence in the more common applications, there remains a large field for environment and activities modelling. The integration and composition of several information sources is perhaps the main difficulty with the need to deal with data interpretation and semantics inside concurrent simulators. Besides, the data on population, people's behaviours, people's perceptions are essential in environmental assessments, where the technical aspect is not counted as much as the common acceptance of impact technology. We provide a model for building environmental services with open data systems. A case study is given for getting information from the public about their relationship with freshwater and its scarcity in Jamaica. more »

With the framework, the ultimate systems are optimized in both performance and energy consumption. Moreover, using the framework, designers can implement FPGA platforms without manually describing any hardware cores or the interconnect. The systems offer accelerations in execution time compared to traditional general purpose processors and accelerator systems designed manually. We use two applications in the image processing domain as experiments to report our work. Those are Canny edge detection and jpeg converter. The experiments are conducted in both embedded and high-performance computing platforms. Results show that we achieve overall speed-ups by up to 3.15´ and 2.87´ when compared to baseline systems in embedded and high-performance platforms, respectively. Our systems consume less energy than other FPGA-based systems by up to 66.5%. more »

Hence, it focuses on rigorous approaches and cutting-edge solutions which break new ground in dealing with the properties of CA. Its purpose is to make a formal basis more accessible to researchers, scientists, professionals and students as well as developers and practitioners in computer science by providing them with state-of-the-art research results and future opportunities and trends. The feature scope of topics includes all aspects of CA in both computing and communication Original papers are solicited for this journal. In particular, theoretical contributions should be formally stated and justified, and practical applications should be based on their firm formal basis. more »
