Context aware systems CSA have been an active research area for the last decade. The main feature of CAS is their ability to respond to different environments, so they are proactive systems. The optimum CAS is the human brain which makes it a target for researchers to come up with systems that have close to human brain capabilities. The research and development in CAS have multi-disciplinary dimensions, so ICCASA 2014 expects contributions from different disciplines that will enrich the discussions in the conference. Contributors from Engineering, Science, Social, business, and medical disciplines are expected. ICCASA 2014 will bring together researchers, developers, and industry professionals to discuss recent advances and experiences in context aware systems. The conference will present recent advances, experiences and results in the challenging field of intelligent systems with the focus on the interaction with their surroundings.
