Simulation tools are widely used within the Networking community to simulate packet-switched networks and perform a large number of wildly different tasks: they are often used in the industry and within both academic and educational settings to design and evaluate new and existing protocols and architectures. The aim of the Network Simulation Tools workshop is thus to bring together academic and industry researchers from both the Networking and the Simulation communities to discuss current and future trends in network simulation and to foster interdisciplinary collaborative research in this area.
