Millimeter-wave (mm-wave) radar, operating in the spectrum from 30GHz to 300GHz, is originated from the military field to be used for the detection and recognition of enemy targets. Due to the properties of short wavelength and broad bandwidth, it can also be applied to estimate the signal parameters of micro-motion target, such as micro-Doppler, high-precision angular and ranging measurements. his workshop focuses on the mm-wave radar technology and application, spanning from the mm-wave radar technology like radar parameters estimation, radar system design, multi-target acquisition and tracking, target detection and classification to its applications. The intention is to provide a comprehensive coverage of mm-wave radar substantial progress including the methodologies, theories, and practices.
