We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the first edition of the International Conference on Sustainability in Technological, Environmental, Law, Management, Social and Economic Matters (ICOSTELM 2022). This conference has brought researchers, developers and practitioners around the world who are leveraging and developing smart grid technology for a smarter and more resilient grid. The theme of ICOSTELM 2022 “The Fields of Applied Science And Technology in Dealing with Sustainability Development Goals”. The technical program of ICOSTELM 2022 consisted of 132 full papers, including 4 hybrid rooms in oral presentation sessions at the main conference tracks. The conference tracks were: Track 1 – Technological and Environmental; Track 2 - Law; Track 3 - Management; and Track 4 – Social and Economics.
