After the first successful edition, EAI is bringing you the 2nd Smart City 360° 2016 Summit bridging the automotive industry with the IT sector. The objective of the Summit is to provide a platform for scientific collaboration, presentation of scientific output and to link research with practice. With the Slovak Presidency in the Council of the European Union, there is no better place to hold the Summit than in the automotive industry hub of Central Europe. The Slovak capital, Bratislava, will host the Smart City 360° Summit 2016 providing a meeting point for everyone involved in the industry who wants to know the hottest news and most up-to-date issues. Since 2007, Slovakia has been the world’s largest producer of cars per capita. In 2015, for the first time ever, the number of cars produced in Slovakia exceeded one million. However, to be a leader, careful planning needs to be done in order to ensure sustainability of this strategic industry.
