The interest in pervasive computing is increasing steadily. While many requirements can be addressed with current technology, there are many open questions regarding design, development, as well as deployment of pervasive systems. The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers from the areas of pervasive computing and software engineering to exchange ideas and to define new research directions based on experience and needs of both communities.
