Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Prefabricated component manufacturing requires adaptive rescheduling when equipment failures, delays, resource shortages, or order changes invalidate original production plans. Existing approaches often rely on predefined disturbances or global re-optimization and do not sufficiently connect BIM/IFC-derived constraints with digital-twin state feedback. OBJECTIVES: This study aims to develop a stable local rescheduling framework that continuously maps BIM/IFC component relationships and digital-twin state deviations into dynamic constraints, affected task sets, rescheduling triggers, and local repair boundaries. METHODS: A BIM-DT state-updated constraint propagation mechanism was designed to transform floor sequences, assembly dependencies, operation precedence, mold compatibility, and resource capacity into initial constraints, and then update them using equipment-state deviations. A constraint-driven local rescheduling module was further developed using task locking, local repair windows, state-triggered activation, and adaptive schedule-stability control. Reconstructed experiments were conducted using OR-Library scheduling instances and NASA C-MAPSS equipment-state data. RESULTS: Across five repeated experiments, the proposed method achieved lower total tardiness, rescheduling cost, schedule deviation, and adjusted-task ratios than most baseline methods under reconstructed disturbance scenarios. Compared with the best-performing dynamic baseline in this comparison, ND3QNP, total tardiness decreased from 101.8 to 96.4 on OR-Library and from 131.7 to 126.5 on C-MAPSS. Ablation and representation analyses provided supporting evidence for the roles of constraint propagation, state triggering, local repair, task locking, and adaptive stability control. CONCLUSION: The framework provides a reproducible constraint-driven local repair method for disturbance-oriented rescheduling in prefabricated component manufacturing, while future validation with real factory BIM-DT data remains necessary.
