Abstract

The issue of sexual harassment in college has recently been widely discussed and always gets much attention from people. In fact, many people that should support the victim, have turned against the victim. This issue is presented in the novel Thank You Salma, which is a trilogy of the previous novels, Dear Nathan and Hello Salma. Therefore, this study aims to find out the male respond toward sexual harrassment's victim, especially in the university. This research uses a content analysis method with a radical feminism approach. The data in this study came from quotes and interpretations of the contents of the novel. The results obtained in this study are the social discrimination from men to victims of sexual harassment and the position of women are always blamed. In addition, there is support from other men for the victims to get justice.
