Abstract
Maker education is a new form of education based on the maker movement and maker spirit. The core of it is learning from creation. In the traditional sense, conducting maker education usually requires material support from "maker space" and "open-source" platforms. its content is mainly limited to the fields of industrial design and manufacturing. This underestimates the application value and scope of maker education. Based on a comprehensive analysis of its connotations and characteristics, we propose the idea of integrating maker education with the university curriculum and designing a teaching model. After that, we validated the feasibility of the model through a teaching experiment.
