Abstract

The cooperation between Regional General Hospitals (RSUD) and the Health Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS) in Indonesia is the focus of this research. Through an in-depth analysis of the dynamics of such cooperation, this study aims to identify the legal challenges faced by RSUD and explore effective legal protection strategies for RSUD in the context of cooperation with BPJS Kesehatan. Using an in-depth qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews with relevant stakeholders and document analysis related to policies and regulations. The results of the study highlighted the complexities in the implementation of cooperation between RSUD and BPJS Kesehatan, by identifying issues such as complicated claims procedures, compliance with service standards, and medical risks. However, the study also found a number of prospects and opportunities for RSUD, including the potential to improve accessibility and quality of health services for the community. Based on these findings, a number of recommendations were proposed, including improved understanding of applicable regulations, strengthened medical risk management, and increased cross-sectoral cooperation. These recommendations are expected to serve as a foundation for the development of more adaptive and effective policies and legal practices in the cooperation between RSUD and BPJS Kesehatan in Indonesia.
