Abstract
Blended teaching has gained widespread attention in recent years as an innovative instructional approach. Higher mathematics plays a significant role in developing students' mathematical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills. This study explores blended teaching in higher mathematics from the perspective of the ARCS motivation model. Taking the "second important limit" as an example, this paper elucidates how the four elements of attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction can be integrated into the instructional process. The aim is to cultivate students' abilities to discover, analyze, and solve problems, as well as to stimulate their learning motivation. This research provides valuable insights for the reform of classroom teaching in higher mathematics.
