Development of Review Text Teaching Materials Based on The Local Wisdom of Batu Bara with the Help of FlipHTML5

Abstract
This article contains a summary of the results of research on the development of teaching materials for review texts based on local wisdom Batu Bara was assisted by FlipHTML5 for class VIII students packaged in the form of E-modules. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Four D Models) from Thiagarajan, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data collection instruments used were (1) material and learning design validation questionnaires; (2) teacher and student response questionnaires; and (3) student learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique uses a Likert scale. The product that will result from this development is the FlipHTML5-assisted E-Module, which contains teaching material for review text based on the local wisdom of Batu Bara. The product will be validated by material experts, learning designers, the Indonesian language teacher and students
