Abstract
Shanghai has a large number of old residential areas, many of which are made up of "old housing". "Old housing" is very popular in the market because of its geographical location and price advantage. Although the old public housing in the 1980s and 1990s has been more than 30 years ago, it can still be used after transformation. This paper takes the old housing in Shanghai in the 1980s and 1990s as the research object, and carries out green transformation on the thermal performance of its envelope structure, so as to meet the residents' increasing demand for residential ventilation, thermal insulation and other living needs. At the end of the paper, the feasibility of green transformation is analyzed from the economic point of view, and the static payback period of investment is calculated as 17 years according to the cost and electricity saved each year.
