Abstract

This research is used to improve the story writing skills of elementary school students. Writing local wisdom stories at the elementary level must be taught so that students can get to know and add to their knowledge regarding the uniqueness of the local community. But in reality students still experience problems in expressing ideas in written language. The image streaming method is carried out by freeing images of Reog Ponorogo local wisdom that are present in students' minds without consciously deciding on the content of these images. This research is a descriptive analysis of literature by loading data in the form of reference books, articles and other documents that support the research. As a result, students can imagine by remembering the experiences that have occurred and then describe them in the form of thoughts and explore what they imagine to the reader.
