Abstract

Piaget theory has been considerably influential in learning design. The learning paradigm has transformed from teacher-centred into student-centred learning. This implies that students become the main factor and must be considered in creating a learning design. Hypothetical learning trajectory is formulated as the guideline for learning implementation and an anticipatory action toward problems possibly experienced by the students in the learning process. This article presents exemplification of formulating hypothetical learning trajectory for the learning of whole number multiplication concept in primary school
