Abstract

This study is to analyze the validity and practicality of development activity guidebook for Intra Madrasah Student Organization (IMSO) at Madrasah (The State Islamic Junior High School) in West Sumatra. The research is development research. The model development research according to Plomp has five stages, namely preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, test, evaluation, revision, and implementation. However, the implementation stage was not carried out due to time and cost limitations. This study uses data analysis techniques, namely, validation and questionnaire sheets. The validation sheet was assessed by three experts and the questionnaire would be tested with the IMSO board, the IMSO supervisor. The guidebook contains material about the basic concepts of IMSO as well as students’ leadership activities.
