Traditionally, wireless broadcasting and communication networks are exploited to provide live broadcasting services and wireless access services, respectively. Recently, with the rapid growth of mobile Internet services, such as mobile video services, many researchers have been actively studying the technical solutions for the convergence of broadcasting and communication networks to efficiently deliver rich media contents to massive users. Furthermore, several international and domestic standard bodies, such as DVB/ATSC/3GPP/NGB-W, have been working on the standardizations of the internetworking of wireless broadcasting and communication networks. This workshop is expected to bring together both academic and industrial researchers to study the major challenges and solutions in this field.
