Abstract
In this paper we apply Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a multi-criteria selection scheme, for efficient JPEG2000 image and video transmission over Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs). AHP exploits the advantages of JPEG2000 multi-layer and resolution features to set up the process. We show the benefits of adopting AHP scheme in comparison with a case when decisions are made by using only a single criteria
