Abstract

Recently several novel frequency reuse schemes were proposed to tackle the traditional problem of co-channel interference. We investigated the performance of these schemes using a practical simulation model assuming bursty traffic. Simulation results revealed most of them enhanced quality of service, nevertheless, some even made the situation worse.
