Abstract

The analysis of the error probability for noncoherent M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) with postdetection square-law diversity combining (SLDC) on generalized \eta-\mu fading channels is presented in this paper. Closed-form expression for the average symbol error probability (ASEP) has been obtained. The derived expression can be easily computed, and hence, can be usefully exploited in the performance evaluation and system design of digital communication systems. Monte- Carlo simulation has confirmed the correctness of the analysis results.
