Abstract
This paper proposes and evaluates an optimizer for neuron- based body-area nanonetworks (BANNs). The proposed op- timizer leverages an evolutionary algorithm to seek the op- timal trade-off between communication latency and robust- ness in TDMA-based neuronal signaling. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed optimizer efficiently obtains quality solutions and multiobjective analysis is critical in configuring neuron-based BANNs.
