    Abstract

This paper presents a study on uplink capacity of an LTE public safety network supporting video surveillance in order to assist first responders when they need to visualize remotely a critical area. Using system-level simulations, the number of supported surveillance camera users within a cell area of interest is determined. Targeted bit rate in uplink is 512 kbps.
