Risk Management and K3 Study in Construction Projects (Empirical Study: Construction Projects in South Kalimantan)

This study aims to evaluate risk management and Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) in construction projects in South Kalimantan. This study was conducted using an empirical approach, collecting data from ongoing construction projects in the region. Data collection methods include surveys, interviews, and direct field observations. The results of the study indicate that risk management in construction projects in South Kalimantan still has room for improvement. Although there are regulations governing OHS in the workplace, their implementation is still not optimal in most projects. The need for a better understanding of the risks associated with OHS, more intensive training for workers, and stricter enforcement of OHS regulations are the main concerns. In order to improve risk management and OHS in construction projects in South Kalimantan, the proposed recommendations include increasing training for relevant personnel, improving communication between all parties involved in the project, implementing technology that can help identify and manage risks more efficiently, and stricter enforcement of compliance with OHS regulations.
