Abstract

Various themes and studies continue to be developed in the context of BIPA learning in Indonesia. This is one of the impacts of the rapid development of BIPA learning in Indonesia and abroad. Therefore, a study is needed so that it can further enrich the study of BIPA learning. One of studies that can be offered is the study of the Nusantara culture. The culture of the Nusantara has a wide range of materials. One interesting form of Nusantara culture to be used as teaching material is Dhaup Ageng or wedding ceremonies organized by the Palace/Palace of Pura Pakulaman Yogyakarta, which can be used as an introduction to the culture of the Nusantara. The series of processions and ceremonial equipment that accompany Dheng Ageng has a strong appeal for foreign people and therefore could be used as BIPA learning materials.
