Abstract
Starting from the discovery of the phenomenon of privacy paradox and several explanations of privacy paradox, this paper explores the privacy paradox in the context of online shopping through the questionnaire method. The results show that the privacy paradox also exists in the online shopping context and that trust plays a moderating role in the privacy paradox. In addition, this paper discusses the impact of information security technology and related policies and regulations on trust, and thus provides some suggestions for online shopping platform enterprises.
