Abstract
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are a type of network that consists of connected sensor nodes that communicate wirelessly to gather data about the environment. WSNs have grown in popularity, but they have several major limits and security issues that must be carefully considered while building and implementing them. An overview of WSN and common communications standards are given in this paper, and as a result of the wide range of WSN applications, these applications are briefly discussed with focusing on Designing challenges and key security goals.
