Abstract

The prime goal of this study is to perform resolution enhancement using experimental analysis. The framework presents hand image resolution enhancement techniques based on multi scale decomposition and edge preservation smoothing. The proposed technique Dual Tree complex wavelet transform (DT-CWT) and edge preservation smoothing (EPS) algorithm images are decomposed into different sub bands and interpolated, after which sub bands are reconstructed to achieve the enhanced image. The study outcome of this phase is studied with respect to PSNR and RMSE for all the letters of ASL.
