Abstract

The challenge of 21st-century education is the rapid flow of information, so it is necessary for teachers to master ICT. This research invited 97 students of the Indonesian Language Education and Literature Study Programs to participate in TPACK survey. The result showed that they are not yet skilled at combining mastery of material and pedagogy to develop digital learning media to support learning effectiveness. This research aims are to determine (1) the role of the project-based learning method and (2) students' perception as prospective Indonesian Language teachers on implementing the method in developing TPACK. The results show that the project-based learning method can develop students' TPACK with indicators of mastering material and pedagogy as well as having skills in creating digital learning media, and designing strategies for their implementation in Indonesian language learning.
