Abstract
This paper selects the statistical data of education situation in Inner Mongolia from 2002 to 2018, and analyzes the changes of educational equity in Inner Mongolia by using the decomposition method of education Gini coefficient. The results show that the education level of the population is increasing, the Gini coefficient of education is decreasing, and the overall education equity has achieved remarkable results; the gap between urban and rural education years has increased, and the contribution rate of urban and rural education difference has increased. It can be seen that the difference between urban and rural education is the main cause of restricting the development of educational equity in Inner Mongolia, and will exist in a certain period of time. Promoting the integration of urban-rural compulsory education is the fundamental way to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas and solve the problems of rural education development.
