Abstract
One of the industries that influence the development and growth of the country's economy is the manufacturing sector, including the textile and textile product (TTP). This study aims to determine the factors that might influence the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Textile and Textile Products in 12 countries in the period 2012 – 2021 and analyze the significant effects of Exchange Rates, Exports, and Imports of Textile and Clothing, Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF), Textile and Clothing Industrial Competitiveness (Revealed Comparative Advantage) to the GDP of Textile and Textile Product. The results showed that based on the simultaneous f test, it is known that all selected variables, namely exchange rates, tpt exports, tpt imports, and gfcf, revealed comparative advantage (RCA) simultaneously have a significant effect on the Gross Domestic Product of Textiles and Products textiles. The exchange rate has a significant effect on the GDP of TTP, but with the opposite direction, and TPT exports have a significant effect on the GDP of TTP with a unidirectional relationship, TPT imports have no significant effect on the GDP of TTP with the opposite direction, GFCF has a significant effect on the GDP of TTP with a unidirectional relationship, revealed comparative advantage (RCA) of the textile industry has no significant effect on the GDP of TTP with the opposite direction.
