Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze (1) the influence of Population Growth Rate, Economic Growth, Inflation and Investment Rate on Open Unemployment Rate, (2) the effect of Population Growth Rate, Economic Growth, Inflation Rate, Investment on poverty level indirectly through Open Unemployment Rate. The analysis used is path analysis. The results of the study (1) The rate of population growth has a negative and significant effect on economic growth; (2) Economic growth has a positive and significant effect on the inflation rate; (3) The level of inflation has a negative and significant effect on investment; (4) The rate of population growth has a negative and significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate; (5) Economic growth has a negative and significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate; (6) Inflation rate has a positive and significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate; (7) Investment has a positive and significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate; (8) The number of Open Unemployment has a positive and significant effect on the Poverty Level.
