Collaboration-based Transformational Leadership to Improve the Quality of Education in Schools

This study aims to examine collaboration-based transformational leadership for improving educational quality at SMK Triteck Informatika Medan. Transformational leadership is a leadership style that focuses on inspiration, motivation, and the development of individual potential to drive positive change and high performance within an organization. Transformational leadership also inspires followers to achieve more than expected, creates a clear vision, stimulates intellectually, and provides individual and emotional support. Transformational leadership is a leadership approach that actively utilizes a collaborative approach to achieve shared goals. Leaders who inspire and motivate the team actively involve them in decision-making and problem-solving to achieve the desired educational quality. This study used a qualitative approach. The results indicate that transformational leadership is highly synergistic with collaboration to improving educational quality in schools, particularly for principals, teachers, and education staff, to creating an effective organizational culture and achieving desired goals in line with the organization's vision and mission.
