A Responsive Guidance Management Model to Improve Elementary School Students‘ Learning Outcomes

Abstract
This study aims to describe the application of the Responsive Guidance Model in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation of teachers and students. The results show that the implementation of responsive guidance management by teachers has been quite good, with an average achievement of 70%. However, the aspects of individual adjustment, facilitating problem solving, and collaborating with parents are still considered low, at 50-60%. As for student learning outcomes, there was an increase with an average achievement of 61.1%, although this is still in the “poor” category. These findings indicate that the application of responsive guidance has the potential to improve learning outcomes if balanced with an increase in teacher competence in personal and collaborative approaches, as well as the active involvement of parents at home
