Abstract

The aim of this paper was to investigate the effect of foreign direct investment and other macroeconomic variables on the regional inequality between districts/cities in Banten Province for the data from 2010 and 2021. In this study a panel data analysis method with a fixed effect estimation was performed. We find that foreign direct investment and unemployment have a positive and significant effect on regional inequality. While the effect of government spending has no effect on inequality.
