Abstract
Scientists, linguists with no exception, nowadays always try as hard as possible to relate the field they study with the corona pandemic. Therefore, the language, the object of their study, seems having relevance to the scaring disease, and can give contributions in handling it. In fact, there are still a few linguistic phenomena related with this disease can be analyzed linguistically for most of facts concerning with this disease are extra linguistic in character. Accordingly, in this occasion I will try to analyses the popular song lyric “The Way We Were” popularized by Barbara Streisand which concerns with “The way human being easy to forget everything”, and its role to always remind human beings with everything in their life. This song theme seems very relevant for all of us to remind us for always obeying health protocol in the new normal.
