Abstract
This research aims to provide an overview of MSMEs, analyze the challenges faced, spread the level of empowerment, and develop a strategy for empowering the MSME creative industry to increase business competitiveness in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Primary data was obtained through interviews with MSME entrepreneurs, secondary data from related institutions. This research uses a qualitative method with the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. Creative MSMEs in Tanjung Jabung Timur consist of the culinary, garment and craft sectors. They are in a position to grow and develop. The right strategy includes market development, market penetration, and product development. This research focuses on one region, so the results may not be directly applicable to other regions. This research provides strategic guidance for empowering creative MSMEs, which can increase business competitiveness in Tanjung Jabung Timur
