Abstract
Student adjustment problems are very complex from personal, social, academic, and institutional aspects that affect their academic success. This study aims to analyze students' adjustment in attending lectures in the first year of the hybrid learning era. This study is a comparative study, obtained through random sampling. The sample of this investigation included 163 students (16 men and 147 women). Data were collected with an adjustment questionnaire adapted from Baker & Siryk. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and Anova with the help of WINSTEPS Version 5.6.1.0. The result shows the raw variance is 41.8% meaning the instrument is declared valid, and the reliability of the item is 0.99. Furthermore, significant differences between students' adjustment in the first year based on gender and culture.
