Abstract
Early childhood ability to communicate is important to be stimulated. Children will have the opportunity to be able to communicate and do activities with more confidence. Stimulating children's communication skills can be done through play activities, such as playing playdough. Children are given the freedom to be creative using playdough and then asked to present it. In this study invited children aged 4-5 years accompanied by 4 teachers. When the child is asked to explain the objects that the child produces, the child tells about things that exist in the child's daily life. When compared to classes that do not use playdough games, namely using picture cards, it is found that classes that use playdough in their game activities provide greater opportunities for children to produce words.
