Abstract

This study aimed at describing the knowledge and competence of environmental literacy of students at experimental, and examining the effect of the use of Project Citizen learning model. To achieve the objectives of this study, a quasi-experimental. The findings show that: 1) the knowledge of students’ environmental literacy developed and it was proven by the result of the t-test that was 0.222, while the result of the control group was-0.057; 2) there was a significant effect of the use of Project Citizen learning model on the enhancement of students. It can be seen from the value of Sig. (2-tailed) that was 0.000 meaning that it is less than 0.05 (<0.05) with the mean score for experimental group and control group was 4.094 and 3.468 respectively.
