Abstract

Night-time tourism, a new trend in China’s tourism industry, has emerged as a new form of tourism created through the structural upgrade and a shift in the consumption mode of the tourism sector. As a key component of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, Zhuhai has tapped into its unique tourism resources and policy advantages to develop products of night-time tourism, which is expected to improve the city’s image as a preferred tourist destination. This paper summarizes the night-time tourism resources in Zhuhai, examines the development status of the city’s night-time tourism, and proposes suggestions to promote the sustainable and healthy development of night-time tourism in Zhuhai.
