Abstract
The production of medical items that are available to the general public is becoming more common in the health care industry. According to Article 48 (1) of Health Law No. 3 of 2009, which specifies that one health effort may be carried out with traditional health services, one health effort can be carried out with traditional health services. The usage of traditional remedies is expanding year after year in today's society. It is safe to take herbal remedies in Indonesia if the product has been registered with the BPOM and does not contain BKO (Medicinal Chemicals). On the other hand, the usage of natural medications in the family context of UNIDA Gontor is becoming more prevalent in recent years. As a result, there is a need for identification of herbal items that are utilized to assure safety. This investigation was carried out by identifying herbal items that are currently in use and categorizing them according to their characteristics, functions, and advantages. The RAP (Rapid Assessment Procedure) technique was used in conjunction with a qualitative approach in this study. The findings revealed that the items utilized by 72 respondents totaled 100 products, which were divided into groups based on qualities evaluated from four perspectives.
