The cultural elements that have long been practiced by Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi have an important contribution to the Kasepuhan in preventing the impacts of climate change. One example of such cultural activities is the custom to plant rice only once a year. The cultural elements of Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi also have an impact on the livelihood strategies of the Kasepuhan community. Although the majority of the area is agricultural, the livelihood strategy includes livelihood diversification, such as tourism and handicraft development, which not only strengthens the local economy but also promotes cultural preservation.
