Abstract
The regional government is the head of the region as an element of regional government organizers who leads the implementation of government affairs which are the authority of the autonomous region. according to law number 23 of 2014 concerning gonvernment, it is stated that there is a central government and regional government. In the case, the implementation of government affairs must implement the principles of good governance. In the most basic concept of governance, there are 3 main stakeholders, namely the state, private sector, society. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical research specification, the type of research used is normative legal research and normative analytical juridical approach. Regional apparatuses are formed by each region based on considerations of regional characteristics, potential and needs. Regional government is an element of regional administration consisting of the governor, regent or mayor and regional apparatus. The principle of good governance in the process of administering local government is a guideline for local governments in the context of realizing a democratic, clean and transparent government as well as being accountable, effective and efficient
