Abstract
The purpose of this study is to test (1) teacher professional competence towards student numeracy literacy, (2) teacher professional competence towards student numeracy literacy. This research was conducted on students of class XI MAN 1 Tegal for the 2021/2022 academic year, data obtained from questionnaires and documentation of student numeracy test results. The results of the study (1) the professional competence of teachers has a significant positive effect on the numeracy literacy of students; (2) the pedagogical competence of teachers has a significant positive effect on the numeracy literacy of students; (3) professional competence and pedagogical competence of teachers have a significant positive effect together with the numeracy literacy of students. Based on the results of the study as a whole, it can be seen that professional competence and pedagogical competence of teachers can affect the numeracy literacy of students.
