Abstract

Gender and age estimation from facial images are crucial for applications like security, healthcare, and marketing. Deep learning, especially CNNs and pre-trained models like ImageNet, improves accuracy. This review explores architec- tures, datasets, challenges, and mitigation strategies, highlighting advancements and future directions for robust and fair facial analysis systems.
