Abstract

The era of digital innovation has changed the landscape of the financial sector, with BPRs being no exception, as they adopt digital technology in providing financial services to the public. Digital innovation includes online banking applications, electronic transactions, and various other digital financial services. Effective consumer protection in the digital innovation era is not only crucial to preserve consumer trust but also a prerequisite for endurable economic growth. Existing regulations and possible changes are needed to address new challenges arising from digital innovation. Apart from that, the importance of transparency and openness of information in the relationship between BPR and consumers.
